AquaCulture Kings Bacteria Pro 500ml

Bacteria Pro delivers concentrated, fast-colonising beneficial bacteria directly into your aquarium system.

These microbes quickly establish themselves within the rock, substrate, and filter media, where they break down excess nutrients, reduce unwanted algae, outcompete harmful bacteria, and assist in fighting dinoflagellates and cyanobacteria.

When added to food, they act as a natural probiotic, supporting fish gut health, digestion, and immunity. In new aquariums, Bacteria Pro jump starts the biological filtration process, helping systems cycle more quickly and safely.

Dosing Guidelines

• Initially add 10ml per 100L per day for the first 7 days. (For fighting dinoflagellate’s we recommend a dosage of 10ml – 5ml per 100L per day.)
• Add 5 mL per 100 L (26 gallons) every 1-3 days, depending on system load.
• Shake well before each use to ensure even bacterial suspension.
• Use within 4 months of opening for maximum effectiveness.
• If water cloudiness occurs, reduce dosage until the system stabilises; perform a water change if fish show stress (e.g., rapid breathing from bacterial bloom and oxygen depletion)
• Use within 6 months of opening.

Normal Protocol for Bacteria Dosing

• Start-up Phase (cycling new systems): Dose 10ml daily for the first 7-10 days to establish bacterial colonies
• Maintenance Phase (established tanks): Continue with standard dosing (2-5 mL per 100 L every 1-3 days)
• Probiotic Feeding: Soak fish food (frozen or dry) in Bacteria Pro for 5 minutes before feeding to deliver beneficial bacteria directly to the gut
